Vermont Grand View Thermometer by Conant and Weems & Plath

The Vermont Grande View Thermometer was designed in response to a growing demand for high quality, easy-to-read weather instruments. The numerals are double the size of those found on most thermometers of its kind. Its 12.25 inch length allows huge half-inch numbers. This classic design has a solid brass housing finished to a beautifully warm antique patina. A crystal clear glass tube will assure years of unobstructed viewing. Solid brass mounting hardware is included.
This beautiful thermometer and other fine products from Conant and Weems & Plath are available through Jordanwood.

Birds in Trees

These sculptural wall hanging are made from dried Manzanita branches, the bases are made of hardwood ash, and the birds are hand crafted porcelain. Every bird is hand carved by the artist and carefully placed within the Manzanita branches. Each branch has been carefully selected for its unique and graceful line. In the end these sculptures are a rendering of a moment in time. Designed, created and made in California by Chris Stiles. Available through Jordanwood in Grass Valley, CA.

Holztiger Truck and Crane

Another wonderful toy by Holztiger of Germany.
Their toys are aesthetic in form, feel good when you play with them, are designed for creative and imaginative play, are so well made and durable that they can be passed down from generation to generation, and of course meet and exceed safety standards.
Shown above is a basic truck with a crane attachment. The beauty of the truck is that it can be fitted with a flat bed trailer, a dump bed, a garbage truck attachment or the crane. In addition to items like the truck and crane, at Jordanwood we carry a wide selection of Holztiger animals, including a beautiful and unbeliveable Noah's Ark. Come on in and take a look today.
